A full-spectrum creative voice: singer, actor, writer, director, composer — and always, a storyteller.
Ishmon Brown grew up in the High Desert of Southern California and started singing at twelve. His first theatre role came in the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast; the stage never let go. He trained in musical theatre at Fullerton College and went on to play Benny in Rent, Javert in Les Misérables, the Teen Angel in Grease, and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
His work has carried him from regional stages to international waters — entertaining audiences with Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises and MSC. Off stage he writes, directs, composes and creates for the screen. Every room he plays gets the same thing: presence, range, and heart.
